Partner cooperation with the Kazakhstan colleagues continues

The partner cooperation of the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery with Kazakhstan’s colleagues is ongoing. These days, director of the Center Ilya Yemets, together with the doctors of Ust-Kamenogorsk, conducted two complex operations in the hospital of the East Kazakhstan oblast. Patients had combined heart defects. As the doctors themselves say, such a diagnosis often leads to a lethal consequence. After the same operation, the lives of patients become complete.

Together with Ilya Nikolayevich in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Valeriy Dohtyar, the leading cardiologist Mikhail Bul and the head of the Department of Perfusionology Yuri Lisak arrived.

Over the past four years, more than 40 Kazakh children with congenital heart disease have been operated at the Center for Pediatric Cardiology. As noted by the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Zaubbek Turisbekov, the Center “has gained a lot of experience. Here, operations are performed on children at the heart during the first hours of life, defining intrauterine heart disease. And if the child has a surgery within 3 days, it will become healthy without limitations. We will continue this community and if we organize such a center, I think we will get a lot.

“I am very pleased to meet with experts in Ust-Kamenogorsk, who work at a high level and have all chances to have great progress in cardiology and cardiac surgery,” said Ilya Yemets.
